Cradles must be plugged into an analog phone line ONLY and plugged directly into the phone jack. If you do not have an available phone jack, plug your phone or fax (the item using the phone jack) directly into the cradle, and then plug the cradle directly into the phone jack. Digital (DSL & ISDN) lines may work with an adapter (contact your phone carrier for verification/information).
Place DisplayKEY on the cradle the night before the expiration date (your DisplayKEY shows the expiration date).
Updates must be done weekly, but it is okay to put the DisplayKEY on the cradle each night, since this recharges your DisplayKEY battery.
There are 4 ways to update (Sync) (overnight-automatically, immediate-manually, emergency-KIMvoice, emergency-KIMweb).
If you obtain an update code from either KIMweb or KIMvoice, you must eSYNC using the cradle before you can obtain an update code from KIMweb or KIMvoice again.
Other than re-charging the battery, while the DisplayKEY is on the cradle it will not perform any function other than syncing.
Do not remove the DisplayKEY from the cradle while the light is other than green.
The replacement costs for a lost or stolen DisplayKEY is $150.00 and for a DisplayKEY cradle $89.00 (noted on the lease agreement, the addendum and the new issue form).
KeyBoxes must be registered at www.supraekey.com to receive showing information. However, you can still manually read KeyBoxes to get immediate showing information.
DisplayKEYS, Cradles and/or other defective parts can only be exchanged by Metrotex with a Reference # issued by Supra technical support.
Do not expose the DisplayKEY to excessive heat or cold.
DO NOT DISPLAY OR CARRY YOUR PIN CODE ON THE KEY OR IN THE CASE.
If you hold the Enter button down for 2 seconds, a light will appear on the display screen on the DisplayKEY (useful for nighttime showings).
If you hold down the “Enter” and “1” Keys at the same time, it will clear the DisplayKEY of any extraneous numbers or selections entered, and it will take you to the Main Menu.
Once you have made the entries on your DisplayKEY to open a KeyBox, you then have five minutes to place the DisplayKEY in the KeyBox to retrieve the key. This is particularly convenient during inclement weather or if a KeyBox is inconveniently located.
The "." in the left hand corner of the display screen on the DisplayKEY and the green light at the top of the Cradle indicates that an adequate connection has been made and that the DisplayKEY is ready and waiting.
